Solution
To address RST Brands' requirements, we implemented a robust integration between AMP's B2B eCommerce and POS software and NetSuite. The integration facilitated seamless data flow between the two systems, allowing for real-time synchronization of customer information, product catalog, and order details. When a new customer or product was created in either AMP or NetSuite, the data was replicated in the other system, ensuring consistency and eliminating duplicate entry.
The integration enabled AMP's eCommerce platform to leverage NetSuite's powerful functionalities, including order creation, customer management, and inventory tracking. When a new customer placed an order through AMP, a corresponding customer record was automatically created in NetSuite. For existing customers, the order was linked to their existing profile using their email as a unique identifier.
To streamline the approval process for orders created by sales representatives, if a customer was not yet created in NetSuite, the order was created but required approval from the RST team. This ensured that every order received the necessary review before being processed further.
Additionally, the integration allowed RST Brands to select specific products within NetSuite to be eligible for display and sale through AMP's eCommerce platform. Products were synchronized daily between NetSuite and AMP, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product availability information for customers.
